Installation & Activation
What operating systems does Notta support?
Notta supports Windows, macOS, and Linux. See the download page for details.
Can I use my activation code on multiple devices?
Each activation code can be used on a certain number of devices, depending on your license type. See Activation Guide for details.
I forgot my activation code. What should I do?
Check the confirmation email you received when purchasing. The activation code is included in that email. If you still can't find it, contact our support team.
Editor
How do I switch between Normal and Source mode?
Use shortcut Ctrl+/ or Ctrl+Shift+E, or click the mode toggle button on the right side of the toolbar. See Using the Editor for details.
The editor is slow with large documents. What can I do?
Notta uses chunking technology for large documents. If it still feels sluggish, adjust the render buffer size and chunk parameters in Settings → Performance. See Large Documents for details.
How do I insert math formulas?
Use Ctrl+M for inline formulas and Ctrl+Shift+M for block formulas. See Math Formulas for details.
File Management
What file formats does Notta support?
Notta primarily supports editing Markdown (.md) files.
What is the auto-save interval?
By default, auto-save runs every 2 seconds. You can adjust it (500ms–60000ms) in Settings.
How do I export documents?
Notta supports exporting to PDF, HTML, and image formats. See Export for details.
Appearance & Settings
How do I switch themes?
Via Menu → Theme, or in Settings → Appearance. Notta includes Light, Dark, Warm, and Deep Space themes. See Themes & Appearance for details.
How do I change the interface language?
In Settings → Appearance → Language. 10 languages are supported.
