Version History
View, compare, and restore document history versions

Open History Panel
Shortcut: Ctrl+Shift+H
Also accessible via the history button in the toolbar.
View History Versions
The history panel displays all document versions in a timeline style, each showing:
- Date and Time: When the version was saved
- File Size: Size of that version
- Word Count: Word count of that version
Version Comparison
Click a history version to display a diff viewer:
- Left Side: Historical version content
- Right Side: Current version content
- Diff Highlighting: Added content in green, deleted content in red
Restore a Version
- Select the version to restore in the history panel
- Click the Restore Version button
- Confirm the operation in the dialog
- The historical version's content replaces the current document
Warning
Restoring a version overwrites the current document content. Consider saving the current version before restoring.
History Limit
By default, the last 50 versions are retained. Adjust in Settings → Performance → Max History Count (range: 10–500).
